shimmer bricks are one of Bobbi's signature products, and this new one is gorgeous! i bought one today at Nordstrom, and i have to say, i'm very happy with my purchase. hand-made in italy, the Beach Shimmer Brick compact features five bars of warm, pearlized shimmer to create a beautiful seaside glow. i love that it has multi-tasking qualities-- wear one or two shades at a time on your lids, run a big fluffy powder brush over it to give your face the perfect hint of shimmer, or just highlight your cheek and brow bones.

MAC Pret-A-Papier

MAC, as you already know, puts out many (many) collections per season. i myself can barely keep up, LOL!. their newest collection, Pret-a-Papier, is full of neutral tones with a few splashes of fun color, and i picked up a lipstick (Kraft) and nail lacquer (Brown Bag) last week.



Kraft is creamy and a great better-than-nude-on-me lip shade. i love that i can apply this without a mirror! Brown Bag is a pretty brown nail lacquer that has a hint of shimmer. i love that it almost gives me a mannequin hands look. overall, this is a great group of products sure to keep your look polished and fresh this season.

Spring Beauty 2010: NARS

happy tuesday beauties! i made a trip to Sephora today to check out the new Nars spring 2010 collection, then discovered that they didn't have it (oh, the heartbreak!). it is online though, so i figure it won't be too long before i see it in my local store.

i will admit i already am loving the colors featured in this collection-- can you say gorgeous?? we are in for a beautiful spring season, i would say. the nail color, Purple Rain-- love! i hear it calling my name (ok, a bit dramatic, i know, but you beauty die-hards know what i'm talking about!), and of course, the glosses and shadows look amazing.

let's take a look at the NARS 2010 spring collection, shall we?




Cruising Lipstick described as a subtle, sexy pink lipstick; this shade is sheer and natural-looking. the hydrating formula can be worn alone, or over a NARS Lip Pencil for variations in color and depth; neutral enough to pair perfectly with dramatic eyes, yet alluring enough to attract attention when used on its own.
